For a number of reasons, I've generated a new OpenPGP key, and will be
transitioning away from my old one.

The old key will continue to be valid for some time, but I prefer all future
correspondence to use the new one. I would also like this new key to be
integrated into the Web of Trust.

This message is signed by both keys to certify the transition. This can be
verified with the following command (assuming you have both of my keys
already, or have GnuPG configured to auto-retrieve keys):

    wget -q -O - http://kenyonralph.com/key-transition-20091223.txt | gpg2 --verify -

The old key was:

pub   1024D/92A76E75 2008-06-26
      Key fingerprint = 1878 40FD 0C51 92CD AE2F  88BE 985B 54B4 92A7 6E75

The new key is:

pub   4096R/C9B912D5 2009-12-22
      Key fingerprint = 6166 B557 BF04 3923 AC22  6183 98FF 3EF9 C9B9 12D5

The new key is available on my website,

    wget -q -O - http://kenyonralph.com/0xC9B912D5-pubkey.asc | gpg2 --import -

or on public keyservers:

    gpg2 --keyserver pool.sks-keyservers.net --recv-key 0xC9B912D5

If you already have my old key, you can now verify that the new key is signed
by the old one:

    gpg2 --check-sigs 0xC9B912D5

You should see lines starting with "sig!         92A76E75", denoting that the
signature has been successfully verified.

Check the fingerprint against the one above:

    gpg2 --fingerprint 0xC9B912D5

If you're satisfied that you have the correct key, I'd appreciate it if you
would sign my key:

    gpg2 --sign-key 0xC9B912D5

Finally, if you could upload or mail me the signed key, I'd appreciate it:

    gpg2 --armor --export 0xC9B912D5 | mail -s 'PGP signature' kenyon@kenyonralph.com

    gpg2 --keyserver pool.sks-keyservers.net --send-key 0xC9B912D5
